I purchased this presenter from a local store (sorry, Amazon) because I needed it unexpectedly same day. The selection was limited and I only needed a basic presenter, so I bought this one solely based on price and figured if it survived one day it was money well spent.

But I was surprised. It's a well-proportioned unit that has a nice rubberized finish. The USB receiver is tiny and can be stored right inside the presenter behind the battery door when not in use.

This little guy required no drivers; I just plugged the receiver into my USB port and I was flipping through PowerPoint slides like a pro right away.

I took a risk because my PowerPoint 2007 presentation was running in a virtual machine on my MacBook Pro, so technically I was using it with a Mac. The Mac recognized it as a keyboard device and everything worked perfectly in the VM. I'm not sure if this means it would work with native Mac applications like Keynote, but it certainly played nice with my PowerBook.

It's always nice to find an unexpected gem like this by accident, and I would definitely recommend this device to others. Rating: 5 / 5

Great product. Slightly rubberized surface has great feel, buttons work perfectly (back/forward/end show/blackscreen), laser has great strong light with large dot, worked right out of the box. (Be sure to switch “off” after use.)

This was exactly what I was looking for and it came even faster than Amazon.com promised. I haven’t had it long enough to comment on the battery life yet, but everything else works perfectly.
