The Optoma HD65 and Mitsubishi HC1600 are great low budget choices. Also, Panasonic makes some great mid priced projectors with enhanced gaming modes that reduce lag.

However, hooking it all up could pose a problem. I use a Home theatre receiver, which can accept a number of different audio and video inputs (blu-ray, satellite, Xbox360) and acts as the switch when I want to change from one input to another.

Most projectors have similar expectations for bulb life, generally around 2000 to 3000 hours. Replacement bulbs average around $300.00.

Good luck!

Well, I can recommend a fiew.

The first one. http://www.amazon.com/Optoma-HD65-720p-Theater-Projector/dp/B000XOKZ8U/ref=cm_cmu_pg__header It is HD, 720p. Has HDMI, Component, RCA, and VGA. This would be my first choice, if I was buying a projector.

The second. http://www.amazon.com/Mitsubishi-HC1600-720p-Theater-Projector/dp/B001B680GI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1245265856&sr=1-1 AGain, it is 720p, and excellent for video games. This one is actually just as good as the first one.

The third. http://www.amazon.com/Epson-PowerLite-Lumen-Multimedia-Projector/dp/B000Q5X85I/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=office-products&qid=1245266440&sr=8-2 I actually own this one, and its nice. Its not HD, but it will downscale HD content to regular, which looks pretty good still. It doesn't have HDMI, or component. But you can get a component to VGA adapter for it.
