Home Theater Projectors | How To Choose

By pfhometheater | November 13, 2009

A friend of mine asked me the other day about home theater projectors. Because he tends to be at my place quite often and know that I have a home theater projector, so he started thinking about acquiring one himself.

He made clear to me that he only wanted it to watch DVD movies and even play video games. Projector would be about 15 feet from the screen and it would be difficult to darken the whole room, so he wanted to have a projector that was powerful enough so that the picture became visible (quite understandable …)

Well, there is an incredible range of projectors to a lot of different prices. My advice was to go for good brands. Such is Panasonic, which has been making projectors for many years. They have a model called the Optoma HD65 which you can get for a decent price. However, it does not offer full HD and if it’s such that you want, I recommend you to check out the Optoma HD20. However, you’ll pay about $ 350 more for this one.

Anyway, Optoma HD65 is a very good option for projectors for home theater and encourages you to take a closer look at this projector.
