about taking your mobile phone with you? The first thing I would say is don’t even bother and the second is that if you are then make sure you have mobile phone insurance.

The main reason that you shouldn’t even think about taking your mobile phone away with you is because you are supposed to be getting away from it all and taking it with you just gets in the way of having a great time. If you are taking your mobile with you then you are going to call the people you miss because they are there in front of you. They will all still be there when you get back, if you are that desperate just use a pay phone. This is something that is a lot cheaper than using your mobile to make the call.
Another reason is the risk of roaming charges you could get if you accidently go on the internet when you are away. This is especially true if you have a phone like the iPhone as there was someone that clicked the net by mistake and got charged for a massive 00 dollars.
Although you could get gadget insurance for breakages abroad it will not cover you from the mistakes you can make from all of the browsing that can be done. As well as this you will find that a text is going to set you back a lot too so just be warned on that one.
One of the main things that you can learn from this is that taking the phone with you is just not worth all of the hassle. If you are going on holiday then make sure you look into cheap car hire insurance because at least then if something happens you are covered.
